I am assuming I spelled the name right, if not please corect me..
I actually have two images of this bird.
The first image I like better, but the 2nd image I will just link. I am not fond of the second images due to the background. These both were taken at the bronx zoo, this past weekend.

This fella for some reason decided to get close, so I managed to get this close up of him with my 70-200 f4. This is actually the first egrette I have ever photographed. Hopefully one day I can photograph another one of these beautiful birds.

"Egret" is correct, but I don't recognize that species.

When I am browsing around at the zoo, I find good animals to shoot. Then I shoot one shot of the sign that identifies the animal with common name and scientific name. It makes it a lot easier when you get home and have to name that file something easy.

I've never seen an egret with such coloring. Could it be some kind of stork or crane?

I am not sure. I am bugging out that I didn't shoot the sign which explained everything about the bird. I may be wrong about it being an egrette also... but I am going off what someone told me while we were at the zoo..

Hopefully I am somewhat right?
