Well a longtime friend of mine who knew I was into photography asked me to take a few photo's of his newborn daughter.

This is his 1st child. A little girl named Kerry. At the time that I took these photo's Kerry was 1 week and a day old. She should be approx. 2 weeks now. Anyhow we wanted to get photo's of her awake, but unfortunatley she was sleeping, and for some reason would not wake up ... at ALL .. lol ..

So I took some images of her asleep.
Needless to say my friend was estatic with the images.

I used a 18-55 kit lens, and also a 50mm 1.8 with a 550 ex bounced straight up off the ceiling for light.

I like #3 very much. Good lighting and excellent detail.
What happened with #4? Appears overexposed.

Betcha the friend calls on you for future photo gigs 8-)

Awwww....chubby wubby. I like the last photo....defines the phrase "sleeping like a baby".

Thank you for the comments everyone.
I think with number 4, the exposure was taken on my friends' face, and not the baby. So that may be why the pink isn't exposed right.
I will have to get the RAW file, and see what I can do with the image.

hehe, thank you . I will definetly let him know.
Yeah I think he is in love ... He can't stop talking about her, before all he used to talk about was cars.

Very nice series. She's an adorable baby. My favourite is the last one.
