Left the sky in for perspective. Does the brush in the foreground add to or take away from the shot?
Any other thoughts? Such a neat thing to see in person. Hard to shoot in my opinion.

The grass and the sky both help make the picture work.

I don't mind the bushy foreground. Love the touch of sky at top! Yes, these are fascinating to see in person.
Was this done with your Sigma 10-20mm?

Thank you. If I remember correctly, this was taken with my 5D and my rented Canon 24-70mm 2.8.

looks fine the way it is. hard to get creative with this one, if you do it again do it at a different time.

I like it. Wish I could see it in person. Foreground and sky help give it perspective.

I agree both help the picture; but I was wondering about the exposure. Was it originally underexposed? Your exif says ISO 400 f8 1/2500 sec. Seems like shutter should have been closer to 1/1000 in direct sunlight.

With the texture this image has, you might try a B&W conversion.
