I wonder if these feathers being shed would be usable for fly fishing???

fly tying - Tried it once. Too hard to hold their little legs together to wind the thread around them!

They would probably be ok to tie with, but it would illeagal in the US to have raptor feathers in your possesion.

Yeah, illegal... I think Hillary got in trouble years back when someone gave her a hawk/eagle feather for a gift. I knew a guy once who was a taxidermist. He had a stuffed great horned owl... but supposedly he had a permit for it. Like the pick though.
