Telephoto "recommendations" - G6

I know this will be a highly subjective post, but I'm looking for some telephoto lens recommendations. I'm expecting my G6 to arrive tomorrow ($482 - shipped! from Dell - those online coupons really help!). I already have my Lensmateonline 52mm adapter (thanks to all those who recommended them - quality product).

Hello chris; IMHO i would stick with the canon telephoto and wide angle lens.I know a lot of people will say that they cost a lost more $$ and they DO. But i have found that they also work better with the camera that they are made for.I found this to be very true with my nikon 5700.And this is why i stayed with the canon tel/wide for my G2-3-and G6.I also like you went with the lens-mate,I found them to be much better made.I hope this is some help.TealBlue

Sorry to sound the devil, but if you were after the zoom and wide angle settings to start with, the Pro1 would have been a better buy.
