Excellent shots. Did you make these with the newest version, V3.1?

Besides the nasty JPG compression they look absolutely stunning. What software did you use for the HDR?

thx, well I used Photomatix but since I am still spending $ in gear I haven't bought the full version so I am working with small TIFF at 640 pixels... so any advice on how to get from there to a web-able JPG?

ver 3.0.3

You can update from V3.0.3 to 3.1 for free, and it might be a full working version with no watermarks for now, since it is beta. Not sure though, since I bought it, and it just updated with no problems. Anyway, that new version is much better. Got new sliders, and they come out much sharper. To convert from a tif, I have and use CS3. Although, anything that can open a tiff can convert it to jpg.

got the 3.1, same watermark :(

Flickr only accepts JPGs..... i am using Faststone to add frame and convert to the final JPG

sorry Flickr Uploader only taked JPGs but the web version takes TIFFs so I upload de TIFF but then Flickr shows the final location as JPG...

I really like what the new version does to the images. Not that the previous version was bad, but it just made the images look soft, no matter what you did to post process them.

If you don't have any serious image editing software, you can get Irfanview for free (http://www.irfanview.com/). It will even convert 40D RAW's to any other format, and it has a minimal image editor in it. Since I do have CS3, I use Irfanview a lot just to view the RAW's before opneing in CS3 ACR. Very handy piece of software.
