Ok....I just edited this because a friend just helped me get my Basic AC Strobe Kit hooked up...I just didn't line it up right, with my need for reading glasses...but...

if I want 2 different lights set up, is there an adapter to control both.

I'm sorry if there's a thread...I've done a search with a few key words and don't find what I'm looking for right off the bat.

Thank you in advance. I'm sorry if I sound stupid!

I am trying to understand your question, you are using one strobe, and you want to add another one?
What kind of strobes do you have? How are you triggering the one strobe?
Depending on the type of strobes you have, you may be able to fire the second one optically, if it has the capability.

We need a little more info.

Oops I had posted another part of the question then stupidly figured out that answer, and I took more than I meant to out of my post.

Ok, I have two of these
http://www.adorama.com/JTSL45K.html

They each came with the cord (excuse my ignorance for knowing the proper word for it) that connects to the camera - but if I want to use the second one...what's the secret?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by optically..thank you for ANY help!

It sounds like they have optical slaves built in - if one fires from the camera the next should fire based on the flash. You shouldn't need to hook the second unit to the camera. Just power it up and make sure it can 'see' the flash from the unit hooked to your camera.

Oh that is awesome! I haven't even put the second one together yet, so I'll go do that!

Thank you all so much! I just love this site! I bought a lens in January of 2008 from a member, using my husband's camera, then bought a 2 of my own cameras here, as well as some other lenses and have been like a sponge soaking up all the knowledge I find on here. This site has amazing people who are always willing to help out!! THANKS!
