Got a snail mail Letter today...
Apparently, a photo I submitted to our regional daily newspaper, of last week's north eastern October snow fall ... generated some interest from a bird/photography fan (and newspaper reader).
This person is interested in the gear I use to capture such great shots...
I wrote an extensive email response to their snail mail letter... Referred them here, to POTN, to B&H, and Adorama, for camera and lens info and sent them a medium size file of the pic...
I also explained that this was a dark morning shot, taken on the seasoned 30D, with the Canon 70-200mm f2.8L IS... and that I normally use the Canon 400mm f5.6L on a tripod for birds... They can also check my web site out for more winter pics, as this one isn't uploaded to my web site...
Very interesting... That's the second USPS snail mail letter I got, regarding my bird photos, from total strangers this year...
