Grabbed these two shots after wondering where the noise that was moving stuff om my shelves was coming from. Still prefer the noise of a Huey though, Chinook being the nearest sound to one these days.

These definitely look lower than they normally fly over populated areas (At least in the US). Are you close to an airport of military base?

If the weather was better I would have thought they were looking for nude sunbathers, mind you at that height they could beak into bedrooms with the naked eye.;) Fortunately I'm the proud owner of a telly licence. Tis indeed a small price to pay for broadcasting without inane advertisers trying to sell you things you don't want ad nauseum.

I'm about five miles from Heathrow and a couple of miles from RAF Northolt. The blackhawks don't play base inside your chest like the hueys used to, though the odd Chinook that passes by has a similar affect.
Saw Willy Clintons presidential seakings at about the same height when he was over here, alas no camera at the time...

still can't beat the noise and feel of a huey though ;)
