i have their 4g version in my 20D. been using it for about a year in 3 different cameras...

i havent had a single issue with it... im thinking im gonna go for the faster 1g cards from now on...

6g is a ton!

yea its cheap - but wont last half as long as a solid state card.

the idea of anything moving in something that small that gets jarred around everytime its used scares me

I've used an IBM 1 gb microdrive for about 3 years and a Hitachi for about 2 with no problems. I have used them in conditions from very cold in the winter to very hot and dusty in the Kalahari desert. The only failure I have experienced was with a Lexar CF card on a very cold day.

I prefer my Sandisk Extreme 2 gb CF card because it is somewhat faster than the microdrives, but having a 6 gb card would be really attractive for shooting in conditions where you don't want to open the camera to change cards, but are taking a lot of pictures in a day.

I am not certain whether another fast Extreme or a large microdrive will be my next purchase.

I have had the 4 GB Hitachi for almost half a year as well, no problem at all. Loving it!

keep in mind, the microdrives have been used in iPods and devices like that for years and years.... people run with the, go to the gym with them, and jog with them.. Im damn sure u aint running around with a camera hangin from ur neck... So im not to worried about that. I order a 4 gig micro drive and also have two 1 gig san disk ultra 2 cards for when i NEED to shot contunious... Im sure the microdrive can hold its own.
