Apologies for posting this in the Photo Sharing section, if the mods would like to move it then that's quite OK with me.

I traditionally take landscape photos but get most of my inspiration when travelling, either interstate or overseas. Due to a shortage of funds I won't be going anywhere for the next 1/2 year or so and don't really get inspired when taking photos around my home city (Perth) which many people consider very photogenic. Reason for the post, does anyone have any requests for any photos that they'd like to see of Perth or the surrounding areas - within 300km (200 miles) or so? Any wildlfe maybe?

Just looking for a bit inspiration that's all, any suggestions welcome

ps Sydney's 4000km away and Uluru is about 2500km, no chance sorry!! ;)

How 'bout some street scenes. Show us what Perth is like at street level.

I have cousins who live in Perth - so it'd be nice to see them! :D Only kidding! Just be nice to see some shots of the city - I've never been and don't know what the place is like.

Do you have any bridge there?
How about the train station?
Any night scenes?
Could be also night scenes of the bridge and train station.

The street scenes are always welcome.

Maybe the pinnacles, Nambung. Some stree shots from Fremantle. Have also heard about Walpole which sounds quite nice but not sure how far that is from you.

How about some wildlife ... Koala's and Roo's?
It's probably the wrong time of year but maybe a joey peeking out of a pouch if it isn't?
Maybe some Croc's or perhaps a bandicoot?

Thanks all for your suggestions, now I fell very busy, just what I was looking for :D Walpole will take a bit of planning as it's usually a weekend away (250 miles or so away) and crocodiles, well hopefully the only ones we get here are at the zoo, they're very much a Northern species. I was in Fremantle yesterday and got some pics around town and at the markets so will post something in urban life soon.

All excellent ideas thankyou, I'll keep shooting, hopefully get some good pics and post them when I can.
