Unbelievably nice weather last night, so I took advantage of it and spent a few hours walking around taking photos, then of course got pizza :{}

nice shots real crisp, what flash are u using with your xt to take these night shots and lens i need to start shooting down there so many things to shoot

Very nice shots! I hope to go to Chicago and get some pictures this year myself. Are you using a special filter to achieve the effect on the streetlights?

Thanks, no flash used here. Just long exposures on a tripod, and I used my 17-40mm f/4L for these

That effect is from shooting at small apertures, I used f/22 a lot.

My SX10 only goes down to f/8 and and the street lights in my city shots are blown out looking :mad:. Are my settings just to limited to achieve the look you have here?
