I am not sure what's going on here... very strange that Pekka doesn't seem to answer anymore. I hope he's OK.

Be patient
Pekka is a very busy men is he told several times before...
This forum AND ee is like a hobby for him, not his work.
In the end he will answer, don't worry

Yes, it my be so that he is busy... this is why perhaps an offically designated speaker for Peka should be announced here...
It is in a way normal for any organisation that gets bigger and bigger

Pekka has been away last week.
As with us all, Pekka has a job and a life.
However, there are plenty of people here who know EE and php pretty well who may be able to answer your question if you care to post it in these support forums.

@jeronimo: Sure, Pekka is busy and anyone can understand that. But Pekka hasn't been writing in the EE section since the beginning of September, that's "a little" more than the one week you mentioned. I think it's fairly understandable that users are getting a bit nervous about the support and future development when Pekka doesn't show up here for such long without establishing a new support and development system. I am wondering myself how the future of EE is gonna to be. If Pekka doesn't have the time anymore he sould say that or when going Open Source as planned he should announce how everything will be organised. Who are the members of the development team, who will be in the support team etc. Since the start of new forum structure (deleting the EE forum from the main page) Pekka hasnt been around the EE forums anymore. Why? Isn't he interested in EE anymore, other reasons? It would be nice to get at least a message what's going on here. At the moment nothing is clear, the future of EE seems to be uncertain and that's what worrying me (and probably others too).

It shows that any organisation needs a leader and speakers because questions arise and need an answer, because followers need to know in which direction they can (or have to) go, because there is a need to know...
I for example would like to know what happens to future development if at all. The reason for this is not because it is not working, more because i put a lot of work into it and sometimes migration questions arise in case development would cease...
....but then, i do not have a commercial enterprise setup with EE so it is a small matter in the bigger scheme of things...

Unfortunately though they tend not to

Remember, PEKKA is doing this in his spare free time. The script is also FREE, so you cann't expect someone to be aviable 24/7.....
I think that since the forum is not visible on the index anymore, less people check here, so the people that CAN help is also less....

Thats absolutely rigth.
I am 100% sure that Pekka has not abandoned EE and I am sure he will provide more information when the time is rigth. In the meantime please be patient.

photocroatia hasn't asked his question publically. The solution might well be something fairly simple that someone in these support forums may be able to answer.
This thread's been brought to the attention of Pekka/fellow moderators, so expect to get some kind of response shortly.
I do know that Pekka has just come back from a week out of the country, so will probably have more pressing matters to attend to at this time.

Hi,
I have been on tour last week.
If you can give me ftp access I can upload latest files there - I suspect you have not patched login system so the cookie is not accepted (and I know it's hard to find that in forums).
You public gallery seems to work, but slowly. How did you do the database restore? might be that indexes are not active there.
