Hi all,

My father and I recently acquired a nice Bushnell telescope from my recently deceased uncle. I have the model number somewhere around here but I was wanting to use the telescope to do astrophotography.

I've done a little research but I'm still a little confused. I just want to make sure that all I will need to buy is a T-mount and a camera adapter. Is that right?

We both have Canon bodies so I'm assuming that we'd only have to buy one set of parts.

Any help is appreciated. If you need model numbers I will be able to provide those once I'm on the other PC.

Regards

What sort of telescope is it first? Is it a refractor, (glass lenses), or a reflector? If the latter, what type of Reflector? Newtonies, Schmidt-Cassegrain, Matsukov? Etc etc.

My only concern would be if it's a Newtonian Reflector. In my experience it's not that easy to hook one up with a camera using a simple T-Adapter, that's all.
