Anyone going to the largest camera / photography event in the UK.
it starts on the 27th feb thru till 2nd march.
Held at the National Exhibition Centre. Birmingham.

All the new cameras & equipment will be there i guess, seminars, workshops, demos and lots of kit to spend your money on.

Note: i have no conection with the event,
just occured to me not seen any mention on here & as we are the Premier photography forum someone may well be interested.

was thinking about it, but haven't made up my mind yet, if I can get a day off work I might well make it down there, then again, who wants to get depressed seeing all that nice new expensive equipment!

Yep, im going up on the 1st march, never been before, hopefully there should b some interesting new stuff about.

the place is also stacked out with loads of used equipment for sale.
the live demos about photoshop well worth listening to, plus all the images everywhere.

Would love to, but I had a hard enough time convincing my wife to let me golf in Las Vegas in November! Maybe next year! :)

Sunday is open from 10am to 6pm mon , tues the same

and wed is 10am to 5pm

I have been to all of them usually with mates, its a great day out & easy to get to.

if anyone is looking for used camera equipment my advice is check out those retailers first, because they dont half sell some kit there in 1 day.
so lots more choice on the first day early in morning etc.
visit the web see who is there.
and of course the huge Canon stand is a must for us all.
I think its all the free samples they gave out last year.... I came home with a couple of L lenses ?

I notice that Olympus are back in ther fold after missing last year's show, so we can rubbish the 2/3rds system!

I can't drink; I have to keep some engineers under control. Make sure they don't commit the company to anything they shouldn't!!

A new 1D mk2 would fit in that line up real nice

plus 100 to 400

plus 14mm 2.8

Just GO FOR IT

If you aint got enough left for the hard stuff, theres always a reasonable cup of tea at the salvation army.
