George Bush Heritage Locomotive - UP4141

For those that don't know Union Pacific did several Heritage locomotive paint schemes in the last few years. One special scheme was Union Pacific 4141 - Its paint scheme is based on that of Air Force One and "George Bush 41" is painted on the sides in honor of George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of The United States. It is also dedicated to the GB Library and Museum.

Behind 4141 is 1996 (Southern Pacific Heritage Locomotive) and 1988 )KATY Heritage Locomotive).

It's a rarity to see it in Southern California. I had the rare chance to chase it from Colton to Palm Springs the other morning, enjoy!

my dad works for the UP. i forget if it is the 08 or 07 calendar has lots of the heritage engines in it. lucky me i get one every year for christmas.
