Taken this past Saturday with my wife's Canon P&S while on a train ride (Van Buren, AR to Winslow, AR) through the Boston Mountains. I didn't feel comfortable hanging my XTi out the window.

Agh hang the XTI out the window! Nice shot but I'd crop some off the right side, then top and bottom. Awesome Fall colors!

Very nice! And don't worry about hanging the XTi out the window - just use a neck strap!

Very nice shot. I'd be more worried about going over that old rusty bridge though.

Being the first time I've been on a train since I was a little kid the bridges were pretty neat and a bit scary. When you hit the bridge the car starts rocking a bit. It became interesting for me when I looked out the window straight down and saw nothing but the tops of trees.

Well framed against the train! I don't think I could have taken that shot better myself. And with a ego like mine thats saying alot.
Good work!

Nice shot. It became interesting for me when I looked out the window straight down and saw nothing but the tops of trees. Some of us might have taken a few shots then, too.

I did take a few, but they don't show the height like I was hoping.

Lovely photo, but damn - that bridge doesn't look very sturdy!

reading about it the picture is perfect as it is
the darker bushes and shadows on the right put the beautiful colours of Autumn and the great train into perspective.
