What sharpening tool does everyone find themselves using the most when it comes to your portrait images....I've used Smart Sharpen, Sharpen More, and Unsharp Mask. Are these OK, or is their a different way (more selevtive) I can go about it?

If you want to be selectvie than I suggest using a layer mask and bring out what you want sharpened using a black brush.

Bumping because I am curious to hear more about sharpening techniques for portraits - and I'm not familiar with Smart Sharpen and why you'd choose it over USM.

Check out this tread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=466333)for sharpening info.

Also look at this action (http://www.thelightsright.com/TLRPortraitSharpener) for CS3. It works well and can be customized very easily.
