804rc2 quick release problem

I just purchased the 190xprob and the 804rc2 yesterday at Samy's Camera ($213). I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the quick release button. On my 804rc2, the quick release lever is really hard to release. I had to use both hands to try and press down the safety with one and pull the qr with the other. I almost took off my entire fingernail last night while catching my camera from hitting the floor after the qr finally gave in. Am I doing something wrong or do I have a bad copy?

Whoa, never heard of that issue... Are you sure the safety lock is all the way deactivated before youve started pulling on it? It should be very easy to release the plate. If its not and you cant figure it out, it might be damaged and I would return it for another.
