the pose is nice...such a serious expression for a youngster. LOL

The flesh tones could stand to be warmed up a touch, IMO

it seems that when I save for web in PSCS the flesh tones get washed out. Very weird.

Well if they show correct on your monitor (or printer) then that's all you need to worry about.
The important thing is that you have a keeper of an image here of what? your son?

I think you should title it...................."Who used up all the TP?"

i had a similar problem w/ PSE3. i fixed it by setting color management to "Limited Color Management" which optimizes pictures for the web and uses sRGB color space.

I like who used the last of the TP. Very funny. Actually my son, 3 years old is quite the shutter bug. He has a P&S and really digs snap shots. Teaching him now how to use my DSLR. Its just a bit big for him now.

I think the fact that I am on a mac with gamma of 1.8 has a bit to do with the color issue. Thanks for the tip of setting it for the rest of the world on 2.2 and color space controls.

It sounds like your PSCS colour management is set for AdobeRGB.
Try this. Before saving for web, goto Image>Mode>Convert To Profile.
Set the Destination Space to sRGB and hit OK.

drisley, you are right smack on! Which is of course, much different than being right on smack. thanks for the tip!

You are welcome Dante.
If your images are mainly for web output, and you would rather skip that step, you can change your default colour management to sRGB.
To do this, goto Edit> Colour Settings.
Change the RGB Working Space to sRGB from it's default of AdobeRGB.

I mostly capture for print. I share on the web. Post here to learn, my web site to share with distant relatives. Again thanks for your tips!

Mike, thanks! He was waiting for his pasta. He was hungry late at night. Was messing with custom WB in the kitchen while I waiting on noodles and just started snapping. This could be an "Aw come on dad, put that damn thing down already" look or "maybe if I dont acknowledge him, he'll quit" look.
