Hello:

As per my other posts here and elsewhere, I think that I don't (or can't) shoot anything else other than my beautiful daughter Julia. Today I mounted the good ole' 70-200f2.8 L to my trusty DRebel (I have been trying to use a different lens each day) and caught her deep in 'play' mode. The more I use this lens, the more I love the colour and deep saturation that it provides. I have read numerous complaints about the weight but I actually find that it balances the 'light' Drebel really well. Julia is officially 11 months old today and is quickly approaching her first birthday........how time flies when you're shooting 100-200 pics a day!!:D Thanks for looking and enjoy!

Great composition. I really like the background bokeh and of coarse the baby is beautiful.

The first picture is lovely. I feel like I'm right there watching her play. And of course she's adorable.

100-200 pics/day? Wow! And I bet you'll show all of them to her future wannabe-boyfriends! ;) (My parents always pointed out the picture of me from 1st grade to my friends. God I used to hate that picture! Nowadays I can actually appreciate it. Ah, those were the times when I was actually cute and innocent. LOL)

ok.....I might be exaggerating a bit!!:D ........I have just over 10 000 shots in the 11 months since her birth.........mind you, well over 3/4 are not keepers. But that is the beauty of digital. For example, yesterday when I took these shots, the two I have posted were the best of about 60-70 shots.............but the time that I am able to spend with my daughter is priceless and time really does fly!!

Thanks for your comments Claire......I must concur; she is adorable!!

They are great shots. I much prefer shots of children that are not posed. They are so cute that I really think posing is unnecessary.

:D Now there's an idea!! I am sure Julia would love it if I converted her play-room in a photo studio!! Sorry, no studio lighting; just a big window and the ever-present 420EX flash. Thanks for the compliments!! Today was 85F1.8 day........got some really nice (natural light) shots..........can't wait for tomorrow.......out comes the 135F2 L.
