The large sizes are much nice, and I really like the one with the ghost people. :)

Yeah if i'd have had a tripod with me when I took that I would have done a longer exposure to get more of a trail of people but i had to hand hold it so couldn't. I suppose that shows how good photomatix's alignment function is though.

Alignment on large objects like buildings is great, but little things like tree leaves moving, it doesn't do so well. People and cars it just seems to duplicate. :)

I like the first two, looking pretty cool.

The last one has an unpleasant dark halo/smudge around the sun that I don't like. The bit of playing that I have done so far with photomatix I have found that if the dynamic range is too extreme then it is very difficult to get good detail without getting nasty halos. I will have to do more playing around to see if this can be reduced. Maybe more exposures bracketed closer together.

Gorgeous. Not overdone. How many shots and at what EV did you take them?

love them, i really like the third one too. it looked like crap on my pc, then i turned on my macbook pro and the difference was night and day.

how many exposures did you take for the first two. (raw?) and what did you use to merge them together?

For all of them 3 exposures were used, JPEG and photomatix to merge them.

Prefer #2 - Like the angle of the shot, and the archway sort of pops out nicely.
