So i was thinking today about what makes a good candid shot and well the main thing is if the object is unaware of whats going on....rite? Well my question is if you shoot an infant but there looking at you, but still unaware of whats happening is it still considered a candid shot? ( im thinking of the classic baby in stroller leaning out looking at you.)

Does it matter if it's technically a "candid" or "not a candid" ? It is what it is...(hopefully) a nice shot of a little person ;)

I think most (if not all) shots of infants can be classified as candids. Opposite of a candid would be a posed shot, and I don't think it's very easy to pose an infant (unless of course you or someone else physically poses the child).
