View Full Version : Any Tips on Mailing photos?

I do some sports photography and use online ordering so I print and mail my prints since they are 3-10 pictures to a customer. I am using an EPSON R300 which I have been happy with on print quality. Sometimes I have pictures stick together when mailing to customers. I let the pictures "cure" for 12 hours or more before I place them in the mailing envelopes. Maybe there is something in the mailing process where sometimes they may be exposed to high temperatures?

maybe a sheet of paper in between the photos would help?

I have an R200 to compliment my i9900 when im not looking for the best prints, and ive noticed the stickyness on the Epson R200/300 as well. Im not sure if it is the ink, or if it is the paper i am using (Kodak Premium) but all i do is add a thin piece of tracing paper (I dont know if theres a more official name) and they work very well, then i just stick it into a mailing tube and send away. If they are small 4x6, i do the same but i put them between 2 thick and stiff pieces of cardboard and send em in a bubble mailer. No problems so far. And I can pick up a 500 pack of tracing paper for like 2 bucks, so the cost is insignificant if ur printing out 8x10's
