#1 was an early attempt at learning DOF
#2 I thought was just an interesting angle of the "Corona Rings" or "Angel Eyes" that surround xenons on BMWs

This wasn't on my equipment, they were taken before I ordered my XSi, with a Nikon D70 with Sigma 18-200mm lens
