There's usually a good POTN contingent on the Grizedale Stages although where we will be is yet to be decided.

Yep, I'm another one who will be making the trip across to Cumbria at the end of the month. I haven't missed a Grizedale Forest Rally for the last 4 or 5 years, as it's generally one of the best organised and ran events of the year. I'll be having a good look at the maps over the next week or so to work out where I want to be for the couple of stages I'll get to see across the day.
The problem last year wasn't the rain so much, but the snow - particularly on the A66 driving home LOL

That assumes that the event even goes ahead - they need a minimum of 90 cars to run the event, and they are a little way off that.......

Might as well drag out my favourite Grizedale pic....not much walking involved to find this spot either but you won't see the lake if it's like last year :D
Unfortunately not a picture you'll be able to get this year (at least not with the car coming towards you), as they are running the stage in the opposite direction this time.
Shame, because it is a cracker!

I'd like to remind everyone that this area of the forum is for motorsport discussion, not for photo sharing. Including a single photo or maybe two to illustrate a particular technical point is fine but this isn't the place for general photo sharing.

Fair enough Glenn.
However i note that those involved with "the book" are once again posting in the Motorsport share section and asking for submissions.

Indeed :) It would be unfortunate if people missed out on their opportunity to submit a photo to the book due to not knowing the deadlines.

Or perhaps most of us just don't care about it ?

the photo was added to show what sort of weather conditions you can expect as any first time spectators may not be prepared i know i wasnt last year but your point is noted also there cant be much discussion regarding this event as not that many people have had there say

Yep, pretty sure the stages are running anti-clockwise.
It's a great event and well worth making the effort to get over for.

Good luck with the weather guys, passed through Kendal and Newby Bridge areas this morning and the weather was real bad - aint seen clouds as black as that for a long while - around 3 degrees C with sleet and hail. It's been raining 12 miles away on the coast all day.

I take that back, BBC gives a cold but nice 24 hour forecast.

If it's half as good as that, then I'll be a very happy bunny!
