View Full Version : I got bored...

I so rarely have actual shots to play with... uncooperative kids. So I decided to do something with what I already have. I'm going to make one for my son, too. I have no idea where I'm going to put them, but I'll find a wall somewhere. :)
I had to leave it a little big because it's hard to see when it's small... The frame is just a virtual representation of how it might look framed -- I'll actually get a real frame when I have it printed. The outlines on the letters look a little jagged sized down, but they're completely smooth, and the images are not sharpened for web because that further sharpened the outlines... so I left it all unsharpened.
Oh.. it's a 10x20 because I've seen 10x20 frames readymade and I don't like the price of custom framing. :)

Nice job. Very cute idea. What would it look like if you added a slight drop shadow to the lettering?

There is a drop shadow, it's just really hard to see at this size. :)
I'll put together a tutorial for those who asked... I'm going to work on the one for my son, so it'll be easy to do it while I work on that one.

OK, I created a tutorial for this and I also fixed the green tint on the background in my Bailey collage. I didn't realize I had a curves layer that hadn't been masked off. I don't know if anyone noticed it but me, but the background was a little minty. ;)
The tutorial is on my blog here:

I'll also post it in the post processing forum just in case people forget to check back in on this thread. :)
