Lily by Candle Light

This was shot by a window at night, with 3 or 4 small candles under the lily in a vase. Both shot @ ISO 100, f11, 20s. Processed from RAW w/ PSE 5.0. New member c&c needed. My monitor is old so I do miss some details.

Interesting lighting in the first picture but what is the blackish Blob on the bottom left. the rest of the backgound is blue ish.....? is it possible your monitor sees the blue as black and you painted over or edited a portion and it all appears black to your screen?

I like the composition on the second photo but hear me out on this.. I am not a flower person the buds in the center appear a little OOF and soft to me.

Overall I like the lighting concept. Good thinking. nice ideas your onto something.
