Hi,

I have my first 2 paid location family portrait shoots booked in a few weeks time. I was wondering if anyone has good ideas for what sort of locations to use if the weather is bad. I always have their home as a backup, but it would be nice to have other ideas to hand if their homes are not particularlly nice background wise.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Adrian

I think alot of it depends on the age group your shooting. Babies - easily drape some canvas for a backdrop. Toddlers - outside as long as its not raining/snowing would be great. Overcast? (like it is here today) GREAT! Start snappin' :p Even all bundled up they're still super cute.

We have an indoor mall here in which one section of the mall is empty (all the stores closed). I've taken my toddler there for pictures before and its worked out well - maybe something to consider for your shoots also?

Good luck!

Thanks. The kids are 2-5 years old.
