A while ago I posted some “headshots” I had taken of my son for his entry into spotlight. Well time has flown and he is now putting his CV together and preparing to send out invitations for the class “showcase”. This is my second attempt at this type of photography, crits, help and tips will all be welcome.
(Oh and if any of you are theatrical agents PM me and I will give you his details  )

Your son is very handsome, reminds me a lot of an actor in a over here...Johnny Lewis...see here:

Nice pictures, although his lips look dried out.

Hi Neil:
Really nice shots!! Like them all but #3 strikes me as the most appropriate for CV. I think you must have used a larger aperture here because focal plane is much smaller and the sides of his face are less focused than the eyes and nose. Nice job!!

Hi Neil,
I remember your previous post with your son's head shot. I think these are much better. My question to you is did you use Photoshop to do your post processing?
I think your son's eyes may be too sharp. In photshop I applied a gaussian blur filter. See what you think. My point is, if you did use the unsharpen mask, I think cutting back on it would help.

he has a good face for serious theatre
good luck to him in his future ventures
