(shutter speed in TV on Drebel)

when I read post as to how poeple are setting their cameras I see thins like Tv 1/300. My stupid question is on my DReb when I set this all I see is whole numbers and some with " after it how do I set to a 1/300.

In Tv the whole number is the same as saying 1/300 or 1/125 and so on. The number you see is that percentage of a second.:D The wheel next to the shutter will change the value.

300 on the rebel = 1/300
125 = 1/125

On the display 2 seconds is 2", half a second is 2, quarter of a second is 4, etc.
