I just bought a Custom Brackets from here . Now I need the correct plate for it
QRS 35 H . camera plate ?
This place sells QR plates but doesn't list Custom Brackets as a company .

why not order direct from custom brackets? or bh?

custom brackets website sends you to dealers list . Emailed 3 with-in 50 miles - 2 - no response and 3rd said they don't carry . They said / posted a plate but list 3 brackets it won't work on - mine is one of them .
B & H say they don't carry that model .

I went back to custom brackets and placed a quick test order. They do sell their products from their site.

They sent this to me
You can purchase a CMP (camera mounting plate), however you equipment will
not stand.

Guess that means it won't stand up by itself when you put the camera down. I barely use my stands. They are little arms that flip out to stabilize the camera/bracket so that it sits straight up. Most of the time, I lay the camera on it's side or lean up against something.

Ahhh the hassles. You should have bought a Mac & been done with it. They just work.

I have another bracket that worked great . It raises everything off table , bar etc just push remote and get some very canid shots
This year when I went to Mexico - It was such a hassel I left it and my tripod there .[ I have a house there . ] I was planning on leaving the tripod there anyway - the one I had there was given away 2 years ago by my wife - how much does this cost? Ramon [ a godchild ] can't find one here so buy a new one because I gave / told him when we go home he can have it .
Last year ,I looked in 6 different towns that were close by - no one sold them .
Anyway thanks - maybe someone else knows , I know they didn't just make one of these .
