Hey everyone!

I have been researching album companies for a few months now trying to decide who I want to go with...wow this so complicated! There are so may choices!

I am looking for a company that I can order online, drop photos into a template, get a hard cover book where the pictures are printed directly on the pages- no peel and stick-that just sounds messy.

I know this is going to sound so cheap but I tried my publisher and ordered a hard cover wedding book as a sample to try it out. I got one more free so bonus. Their site even has a forum where others have shared their albums and I am actually quite impressed with what people have designed!

my point:
Has anyone used my publisher to start then upgraded to something a bit higher end with the same ease? I just loved the drag and drop option.

In the future when this is a FT gig for me I will have the time to make spreads in PS and spend more time and money on albums but..for now this seems like a good compromise.

Templates are so handy!

Thoughts/comments?

PJ Remix (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=595208) is free now, you can use it to design any album type. Once you have your own templates set up it's very quick to design albums, and you can download or buy template sets.

Asuka are a good book company. I don't like books though, they don't seem as robust as real albums. Have you checked out KISS albums? They seem good, with good service and reasonable prices. If I was in the US or nearby i'd give them a go.

Yes I love the Kiss albums and I do want to buy with them. I was just drawn away because it seemed as tho I needed to create the pages in PS and for me that would take a long time!

I will check out PJ. This sounds like the answer to my deliema!
Thanks!

PS takes AGES, I never do that, it's HORRIBLE! Do the album in PJ, export to PSD files, then do anything else you need to. For me that's not much.

There's a bit of a learning curve with PJ, get their tutorial videos, they help you get up to speed much more quickly.

I use Lumapix very easy, they give a free trial. Check it out. I haven't ordered an album yet but I plan on ordering a zookbook from zookbinders.com
