Hey everyone, I took this with a 20D, EF 75-210 f4 lens.

ISO 100 1/8 sec. f 20 It's the best zoomed in crop I could muster.

I just dont think I have the glass I need yet for a good moon shot........

A little out of focus too, but I think it may be because of the extremely zoomed crop, dunno. I just dont think that lens can reach enough.

Maybe not "too" awful for that chinsey lens though, I dunno.

Can this shot be further enhanced in PS anybody think?

Jeff

Here it is again with some more tweaking in photoshop.

I desaturated, used a little unsharp mask, & adjusted curves & contrast.

Still not bad for that little crappy 210 lens.............

Nice picture!
whenever i try to shoot the moon with my 3.2mp camera it doesnt come out very well. Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knows any other place where there are good quality images of the moon (taken from earth)

try using the search facility of the forum and search for "moon", and you'll see a whole selection of pretty impressive moon shots. :)
