It looks pretty good. Be aware that you won't get results like that in that lighting with cars with non-metallic paint. So...

Yup.

What car do you drive? I wanted the black ones but I got a great deal on these that I couldn't pass up and I don't think I'd like it very long if they were black on my car.

Ahh that's too bad, the oem HID's on those cars are good quality, kits are never the same, unless mazda uses the same projectors for hid's and halogens... would save them money but the general design of projectors for hid and halogen is different for the reflector bowls.

Yeah, that's what I use. I am using the 28-135 IS kit lens from the 40d. I bought it when I was a beginner, later find that I can actually get pictures just as sharp with the 18-55 kit lens. The only advantage is more of the zoom and IS for lower light. Most of the time, I use the AV mode and set the aperture to what I think the lens is at its sharpest.

Yeah, they are a little bit different from what I have read but it looks fine to me. I didn't get the HID package cause that's what the GT comes with.
