I'm curious on how you shot the colors in the second one, if you dont mind sharing your secret...

Thanks Jim and Kristic. I don't mind sharing at all. I used my wife's water colors to add color to the water. I filled the glass with blue water and the eye dropper with yellow. Two drops fell. The first one hit the water and splashed up. The second drop hit the first drop and fanned out. It was purely lucky timing. Even using a sound trigger, every shot is different. --Rick

nice shots... what did you use to color the water with..or what are the liquids you are using.

Thanks guys. The fluid is water, colored with water paints. The exposure was controlled by the flash, not the shutter. These photos were taken in the dark using StopShot
