Hello everyone,

I took this photo from my driveway last fall in Kent County, New Brunswick, Canada. I am not sure which one I like best?
What do you think?

Color. Nice scene, Maz.

The color one is nice, especially because of the foliage. However, I like the B&W version as well, just because the carriage fits in better that way. It might look even more like a "period" photo if you tried sepia.

Just a thought. :D

The color one gets my vote but it looks as if there is something odd where the sky meets the tree line.

very nice Maz
I prefer the colour by far here

but why does the horse and carriage seem to be emerging from the grass instead of trotting along the road http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Thank you for your comments.

My neighbor was just pulling out of my drive Marie which is why the horse and buggy are at a odd angle.

The photo was taken quickly Gramps and the forest and sky came out somewhat washed out.

I will try your suggestion on sepia AFCop when I know photoshop a little better.

Thanks sparker1 and Aethyr for your pick on the color one.

Definitely like the colour one better, but the b&w would be good also if not seen side by side with the colour

Maz,

I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of making a couple of quick changes. This is just a sepia version with a little noise added to make it a bit grainy. If I've overstepped my bounds, say the word and I'll remove it.:)

I prefer the color. Nice shot either way.

I think its just one of those shots that could have been taken yesterday, or 120 years ago.
