This is of my sister and her boyfriend. I am very new to off camera flash and needed a varity of styles for my college portfolio. Any CC would be great. It was very noisy and I ran it though a program. I dont know about the results. Any tips would be great. Would you put it in your portfolio to get into college? Thanks in advance!

It looks rather soft to me.

There is no EXIF data to work with to offer any further comment.

What gear/settings were you using?

Too much NR I'd guess.

Don't be to allergic to noise. It's often less bad then it seems.

I think you have the right idea with pose and compesition, they are great!

But, there are some very dark shadows (atleast on my monitor) in her eyes that make her look very scary. Kind of zombie-like. Try to control the balance of lighting more so that it is not too harsh coming from one angle or the other.

I like the concept, but agree with the comments before. The first thing that grabs you are the shadows round here eyes and something with the setting doesn't quite seem right, the chairs and esp the door behind are kinda distracting.
