How does this RRS plate fit up to a 20d w/grip? ive read some older threads that say it doesnt fit as well since its the original plate for the Rebel vertical grip

can anyone back up those statements or has RSS created one specifically for the 20d w/grip..
thanks!

It appears they have a normal plate, and then an "L" bracket made for that application.
Isn't the regular plate version what you have pictured?
If you haven't purchased it yet, check out Kirk also, although they are more $$.

Yep, the stuff is amazingly designed well and will last longer than the camera.
