Really lovely. Shame about the slight lack of detail on the nearest corner of the trailer, but it is a nice picture overall.

does anyone notice the color burned spot? i didnt notice it till after i saved it all, i still have the raw file though :D
the house is actually as wide as it is long, but from the angle it doesnt appear so, is more of an L shaped house, i love how the photo came out and i wanted to give it an abandoned old feeling, dark edges, sepia toning, just wanted to know if i nailed it.
the color burned spot is on the roof on the far left side on the 2nd story near the gutter portion where the branches leave an open space
im thinking of going back and doing a re-edit on it so the colorburned spot isnt there, and hopefully try to lighten up the nearest corner of the trailer ^^ anyone have any tips on how to do so? i have CS3 photoshop and im new to the whole brushes, smoothing and so on.
to me the colorburned spot sticks out now, but it also looks like part of a cloud's dark spot. need opinions on that, as im wanting to print it 8x12 or larger to hang on my wall

Not till you mentioned it. ;)
I really like it, the mood that it creates. I think the sepia tone works well here, but I don't like sepia tone in general.
Have you tried a straight B&W version?

i am almost on the same level here^. I like the sepia, and perhaps would like to see it B&W. I never noticed the color burn either.....maybe that's why I think my photos aren't half bad!! ;)

im not a big fan of black and white unless done properly, i think sepia gives a better old photo look.
but i did do one overdone b&w abandoned house, darks were underexposed and lights were overexposed, so the sky is pure white and so on, it turned out great for just messing around with the exposure on cs3, ill do a b&w conversion on it and post up a result in awhile.

Nice shot.
I like the sepia better. If you are going to shoot it again, I would move 6 inches to the left. I don't like how the trailer corner touches the corner of the house. I would rather see them as separate objects.
But that's a very little objection.

i didnt notice that untill now. i only had a very short amount of time before it got dark so i was limited on thinking time. seen the trailer and put it in a few pictures, there was a garage to the right of the trailer, but the picture doesnt do enough for me compared to this one.
once spring hits ill be going back with fresh ideas on it, the house has been like this for a few years atleast, older lady died, someone tried to fix it up and gave up apparently
