Ok, so photos come out of the camera at 3:2. What is the best method for cropping down to a 5:4 aspect ratio? Is there a better way other than just guessing? Places like mpix.com actually take you to a cropping page which shows a 5:4 red outline box that can be moved to any location you like on the photo you have just uploaded. That makes things so simple. Are there any other programs out there that allow for an extremely easy 5:4 crop?
Thanks in advance

are you using PS?
select crop and then put 8 and 10 (or 10 and 8 depending what you want) in the dimensions boxes at the top (leave the DPI setting alone)

yep PS has the crop tool, and you enter the dimensions you want, and crop away. If you are in the RAW workflow, you can do the same. Well at least in Bibble you can.

Thanks for the quick responses! I figured it out and got them correctly cropped.
Thanks again!

You can crop in PS by ratio as well, theres a little drop down box that lets your change from ratio to pixels to what ever unit of measurement you are useing.
