So my friend told me she wants a Canon Powershot that has a trackwheel/thumball and not arrow buttons. I went to best buy & the only thing that is remotely what she said are a few of the higher end models with what i would describe as a ipod wheel controller interface, a wheels that rotates & you can push down on the cardinal directions.
Is there a camera that has a trackball? or is this wheel thing what she's talking about?

The SX110 and the SX10 have a dial or wheel on the back that rotates to adjust shutter speed, aperture, etc... but you still press the "wheel" to bring up ISO, macro, continuous shot, manual focus settings. I have not personally seen anything with a "ball" style control. I don't really see how it would work or be useful if they did. I think the wheel style that currently exists is what she is talking about.

roger ... that's what i thought.
I dont understand her logic, she wants a camera w/o buttons so she can use it most efficiently when she's drunk ... but arent buttons easeir than a wheel/ball when u're drunk?
silly girls...
