Technically, this isn't a very good shot. I just thought some of you might like to see what main street in Strugis SD looks like on an August afternoon during the second largest motorcylce rally in the country.

Thanks. I've so far managed to avoid being there at that time (one near miss), so it's good to know what it looks like. I also stay away from Daytona during Bike Week.

I'm retiring at the end of May, hoping to be able to make it to Laconia this June!

Marie, on average they get about 600,000 visitors during the rally! This pic only shows the ones parked. The roads going into and out of Sturgis are normally packed with bikes/bikers as well.
