I looked around here but didnt see anyhting and not sure if this is the right place but here goes,If I purchase a NIB xsi from ebay will canon honor the warranty on it? I am thinking not but dont no for sure. thanks in advance

If the purchase is from an authorized Canon retailer...the warranty is good...there are several that do sell on ebay. If you buy from a private individual...there is no warranty.

Some sellers provide their own warranty if they are selling gray-market gear - for instance Hong Kong sellers make you ship the defective item back to them for warranty repair - you have to factor that into your value equation.
