You have a great perspective from that pier there. The water really looks good in this. What lens did you use? :)

I used Canon 24-105L.

I had difficulty determining where to everything via the rule of thirds. The beach, the wave line, the houses all create a "horizons" of sorts. I ended up just choosing the sky and putting that in the top 3rd.
