I would like to hear some opinions on crop v.s. no crop for this pic.

Nice crop job. On balance, I'll take the second shot.

Horses are such beautiful animals...

Both are quit good, but I prefer the no crop. gives a little better prespective of place. I think the cropped one was a little to tight, didn't give the horse enough room, what might have worked is if you had cropped even tight, say just around the head with a little of horses boby.

I prefer handsome. #2 just looks too big.

I would crop a little less as it is a little tight on the left side.

Great shot. I am new here. How do you make the file small enough to attach?
Thanks.

i prefer the crop, cropping can be a powerful tool, it can transform a picture dramatically!

Nice horse, such a lovely day, so why the long face?? (STOP GROANING AT THE BACK!!!)

I prefer the cropped image, I see that the object in focus is the horse. The first image- kind of looses trying to balance the horse and the too bright background.
