These were taken on Friday night at The Palace.

The lighting was pretty horrid, either near darkness, strobes, LED lights or red made it pretty challenging but I am reasonably happy with the set of shots I got on the night. The full set can be seen here (http://blackshadow.smugmug.com/gallery/6494557_9qbd4/1/412472762_nrfMK).

I tried some more artistic post processing on some of the shots.

C&C encouraged.

1-3 and 5 are really nice, 5 being my favorite. I see where you're going with 7, and the exposure doesn't bother me, but it's a little too oof for my tastes. 8 would be better without the cutoff hand and it seems a little flat compared to the others.

Like the first one and second. Altough tough conditions you mentioned, #4 and #7 look a little blurry.

# 4 is the one that is my favorite. The others, while solid shots, all seem to have things that distract me...too dark, too light. # 3 is a great capture, but the overall conversion doesn't do it for me.

Whoa, Richard, you did miracles here! Way to work with the light. :-) 1-5 are excellent!

first three look pretty good for lowlight. one of my favorite bands btw. watching some pscs4 tutorials realy encourages me to tweak old raw files from 10d
