First post for critique...red flowers

Personally, I like this one, but my wife doesn't. Yay or nay?

If not, is there something I can do in PS to fix whatever might be wrong? I have adjusted it already (USM, hue, contrast & brightness -- nothing drastic) but am still new at this (and PS) so I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks and be gentle!

I like the flowers but the background is a little distracting. The background seems too not enhance the flowers themselves and draw you away from them.

This may be the way the flower actually looks but the red seems over saturated for me. I'd agree with Maz on the background. I'd try adding a little blur to it to make it a less busy. Overall it is still a nice picture

I agree with the other comments, looks like a little over satuaration on the reds.

Here, I've desaturated it a little in PS for you. I think this is better but it could still use work.
