Hey everyone, I know this gets asked for a lot, so if you are not interested please do not reply.

I am in need of a logo, to go on a shirt. I would like something professional looking, that I could have put on the chest of a nice Polo type shirt. I will be wearing this shirt to weddings, and other events I cover, as advertisement.

Here are the details.

I would like my company name on it, CRoy Photography.
I would like my website on it, www.croyphotography.com (http://www.croyphotography.com).
I would like the colors to be red/black.
I am thinking of a round design, but that is not set in stone.
I am open to any type of artwork, as long as it is professional looking.

Let me know, if you can help me out, and how much you charge.
Job will go to the lowest bidder with the best design.

I have an interest.
Problem is you ask for a design up front.
That means the work is done before the money flows. :)
Let me know if you want me to work on this for you.

Size?
Style....Wild, formal, artsy, Texas, New York?
Hard or soft?
Are you going to embroider this?
A letter logo or do you want more elements?

Cheers :)

I don't see where I asked for the design up front. I said let me know if you can help me out, and how much you charge. This could go both ways, I don't want to pay for someone to just throw something together that I could do myself. I am not asking for a freebie, but I don't have a lot to spend on this.

Do you have any examples of work you have done? What do you charge?

poloman - to expect to be paid upfront, you should have a portfolio with designs to prove yourself as a graphic artist.

If you do not - then I would expect you would do the design first, and then get paid if it is liked. You can watermark it all up so that it can't be used or copied easily but the design is still viewable - also making it smaller and low quality JPG.

Hi Chris,

In a task like this, you don't have the design until the job is done.
A person like myself needs some direction so my time is not wasted coming up with countless iterations that are not to your taste.

"Job will go to the lowest bidder with the best design."

I am PMing you.

See what you think I opted for a clean logo with some elements of Photography and Print. Such as "crop" and RGB. In an "easy to read - print" on any material.
