Any comments from owners of the sd200 or 300 appreciated!
Has anyone taken the .avi video files from either camera and been able to edit them on a video editing program?

What is the quality of these video files on a big screen tv?

Thanks for your help!
Jim

Video quality is awesome on this camera.

I use it all the time, it looks great on TV :)

I have Windows Movie Maker on my laptop. It might have come with XP Pro or maybe the Office Pro Suite I have. I just recently started using it and it's awesome. I can tell it to compress a file to whatever size I want and it will do it, it has simple editing features like fade to black or white, stuff like that, and I can splice other clips in. It's awesome. My SD200 at the highest setting looks real good on a TV. I only wish the mic was a little better. Sometimes it seems to distort when there is a lot of background noise, but what can you ask for in a point and shoot camera.
